Physical Properties of Low-Dimensional Solids

Group Home

Welcome to Group EX3 at

Key Lab of Extreme Conditions Physics

Institute of PhysicsChinese Academy of Science

The research interest of this group is focused on the physical properties of quasi-one or two dimensional solids.  The materials ever studied include charge-density-wave materials, two-dimensional quasicrystals, high-Tc cuprates, C60 and most recently, carbon nanotubes.

Attention has also been paid to develop special methods for measuring weak electrical, magnetic, and thermal signals under combined extreme conditions of low temperature, strong magnetic field, and high pressure.
